This island has white sandy beaches with aqua colored water paints the picture of a sun kissed paradise waiting to be discovered. This island has the third largest coral reef in the world. The island most valuable possessions are it's miles and miles of beautiful ocean, mixed with the friendliness of the locals and the lush fauna and flora, it is a heaven for visitors looking for fun, excitement or just peaceful relaxation. Bask in any of the eight inhabited islands that make up this Caribbean Mecca for water sports and adventure. Trails of various lengths and difficulty are accessible to hikers of every skilled level. Hikers interested in entering the forested areas should make arrangements with a qualified tour guide for security purposes and a short lesson on the unique flora and fauna of the island.

Water sports:


Take a splash and float looking into the dept of the ocean and be amazed at the beauty of the underwater life that exists on this island. It is a most interesting experience. The critters are not afraid of visitors and some are know to eat from your hand.

Considered to be the best in the Caribbean, this trip can be the catch of a lifetime. A fisherman's paradise, the island's water is filled with Atlantic Blue Marlins, tuna Wahoo and many varieties of Grouper. In the annual tournaments there are professionals that come from many other countries to take part in these tournaments. What is most interesting to the fishermen, is when they bring their prize catch, the chef of the hotel can prepare it. This is and can be an ideal arrangement.

Scuba Diving:

Take a dive to the depths of the ocean and come face to face with the most fascinating marine world. Being one of the most exquisite dive systems in the Caribbean, the island is embraced with a coral reef that expands for over 200 miles. Visibility exceeds 150 feet, with and abundance of tropical fish and marine life and year-round temperatures of 80-8 degrees, which makes for ideal diving.
