Vote for your Country in the Battle of the Islands! Top 5 Locations with Great All Year Round Weather

By Mark James

 Travel / Cruise

The weather can have a major impact on people's moods. The following destinations receive plenty of sunshine year round, and are therefore reliable destinations. So whether you are looking to escape winter to warmer climes, or looking for a new location that is consistently pleasant, there should be something here for you. With great weather and Travel Insurance, you won't have a worry in the world.

Tenerife, Spain Tenerife is the main island of the Canary Islands. They are a part of Spain, but situated off the northern coast of west Africa. Popular with European tourists, with average year round temperatures ranging from 19-27 degrees celsius, it's no surprise that the Tenerife is commonly known as the "Island of Eternal Spring". Tenerife has volcanic origins, and should one tire of the consistently delightful weather, one can certainly venture off to explore snow capped peaks outside the main residential centres.

Caribbean The Caribbean is made up of a multitude of islands, each with their own interesting histories. What all offer is great weather. Take your pick! The palm fringed beaches of the region set the idyllic scene. The warm waters of the area are the secret to winter temperatures never getting too cold. The weather range is therefore warm to hot, but not excessively so. The sea breezes also have a cooling effect.

Florida The United States of America's south eastern state relies on its reputation as the "Sunshine State" for a large part of its economy. Beach towns are very popular. Interestingly, no point in the state is more than 100 kilometres from salt water. Around 60 million people visit Florida every year. Apart from a pleasant climate and great beaches and nature, Florida is also known for its theme parks like the four that make up the Walt Disney World Resort.

Thailand Whenever the cold chills hit, there's always a chance to visit Thailand. Weather can be pretty warm in the hot season. If it becomes too hot, there are options in the north of the country, at elevation, where temperatures are a little cooler. The rainy season runs from around June to November, but rain will often only last for an hour or so, so one can still enjoy Thailand's many beautiful islands. Despite the rain, temperatures ensure that most locations still maintain t-shirt weather.

Queensland, Australia Queensland's tourism slogan of "Beautiful one day, perfect the next" was consistently promoted. Northern Queensland is tropical and can get pretty hot in summer. Southern Queensland is a little less humid, and enjoys mild winters. One can pick a location over 2000 kilometres of Queensland coast. There are plenty of islands and beaches to enjoy, amongst locals who relish the great laid back outdoor lifestyle.

It's easy to dream of floating off to locations where one can soak up the sun, and enjoy the beach all year round. The destinations above offer just that, so whatever time of year it is, it's always possible to jet off and experience the joy for yourself. All you need to do is book your flight and purchase Cheap Travel Insurance, and you should be ready to go.
