USVI is a very unique culture with roots or origins in Africa, Puerto Rico, and an International presence of China, Europe, France, Italy, Japan providing an excellent International flavour. The local cuisine includes a large variety of seafood caught every day, Lobsters, Grouper, Tuna, Wahoo and a large collection of smaller daily catch. Kallaloo, Fungi, Souse, Johnnycakes, curried chicken, fried plantains and conch fritters are the basic staple with mauby, soursop juice, Sea-moss the favorite beverages.
