Caribbean Specialty Foods

Caribbean Specialty Foods is a United States Virgin Islands based manufacturer. Founded in 2002 by Rachael and F. Douglas Ackley. For three years now Caribbean Specialty Foods has been successfully making specialty snacks and condiments that are healthy and different from anything you’ve ever tried. All our Virgin Islands customers and stateside customers alike love our products and keep coming back for more.

Try our Flagship products: Shark, Mahi Mahi (Dorado) and Tuna Jerky. 100% fillets of deep-water game fish marinated in three great flavors: Original, Teriyaki and Hot. Made with the best hand picked ingredients these “Fish Jerky’s” are a one of a kind taste treat. An alternative to beef jerky.

Our hot sauce is “Roasted Scotch Bonnet pepper sauce” or to become know as “Sweetie” A blend of the fruity flavored scotch bonnet pepper and other ingredients like honey and key lime, makes a sauce that is incomparable. Use it on Anything!

The newest addition to the product line is our “Hot Sesame Oil” Canola oil flavored with toasted sesame seeds and the warm fruity flavors of the Scotch Bonnet pepper, a sprig of French thyme brings a climax to the best hot oil you’ll ever try. Be careful as Hot Sesame Oil has quite a kick on the backside. Use it in you favorite stir-fry.

Right now research and development at Caribbean Specialty Foods are working on some other interesting products such as “Calabaza Jerky” and “Pirates Plantains” .
