Flushed Away.

I would recommend it.  It was a good movie.  Not just for kids.

The sad part for me:

Oprah has allowed public opinion to dampen her work.  Beloved was not well understood by the public...

Yeah, a lot of people have been talking about Borat.

What is funny is that the people claiming they were filmed secretly are admitting they weren't acting, which means that they really believe what they said when they said it.

If I were them, and I was embarrassed about what I said in the movie, I would CLAIM I was acting!

Never believe the hype.

And your enjoyment of movies is often influenced on how good you expect it to be.  If you go in expecting it to be super, and its just above average, then you will be disappointed.  If you go in thinking that this movie will be average, then you will be surprised when its better than average.

I am rarely disappointed with a movie, even B movies, because I expect them to be worse than they usually are.

Although I have seen some bad movies, but sometimes that can be fun laughing at how bad it really is.  Kinda like Mystery Science Theater 3000 where they played really old sci-fi movies and the characters (a man and his robot friends) would make silly comments throughout the whole movie while it was playing.  It turned a horrible movie into something totally fun to watch.

well i don't expect a lot out of the movie itself, but the storyline should make for great discussion - at least for me, i'm not one to follow the critic hype but you must understand, this is MY HISTORY and if it is not portrayed right, well, like vutje said...major disappointment in store for Mel.

PirateHey msjoy "The Sixth Day is a great movie..!! This fictional reality here deals with cloning. In the film, which takes place in the "near future," cloning is an every-day practice, but only with pets and animals. Cloning people has been outlawed, as the original human cloning project went horribly wrong. Schwarzenegger plays Adam Gibson, a decent family man and helicopter pilot chartered to fly Michael Drucker (Tony Goldwyn), a rich businessman who owns Replacement Technologies. This corporation is at the height of cloning technology, running everything from a fish cloning company to help repopulate the oceans, to "RePet," a company that clones dead family pets. There's even a rumor that the company's head doctor (Robert Duvall) is experimenting with illegal human cloning. Something goes terribly wrong on Drucker's first flight, and before he knows, Gibson discovers he has been cloned. Its up to him to discover the secret controversy, and get his life back.
