I have the responsibility of a 11 year old , and boys dont like to read(play football yes) any one can recomend books for this age group. the school here seem to think he will find his own reading material. his brother is 12 and also have the same problem.

harmac, you can't force them to read. If they really want to read, they'll find books. What about comic books? I guess with this blasted television people forget about reading books. At that age, I read books by Enid Blyden..."The Famous Five", also "The Bobsey Twins", etc. And don't forget the romance novels...they're not too hot now-a-days...again, the blasted television and internet...
