I can't see the video, but the above from the author is so true. A one-sided story can destroy, alienate, and crush a person's spirit. That is, the person being talked about is not given a chance to tell his/her side of the story.

I think you will really love the video.  She talks not just about stories on a personal level, but also on a cultural level.
