By definition, a community is where a group of people who share the same interests, live in the same place.

A spiritual community can be created between belivers, by using holy spirit. In the bible it says " they committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers." (Acts 2:42)

In one of St Paul's  discusions to the early churches, he said, "Brothers and sisters, if someone in your group does something wrong, you who are spiritual should go to that person and gently help him right again."

Some fellowship groups refuse to do 'conflict', that is, they refuse to be 'frank.' They allow things to 'slide over' in fear of offending someone. Everyone knows about the matter, but no one will say anything. the bible says that it is not loving to remain silent.

Proverbs 28:23 says that, "He that is reproving a man will afterward find more favor than he will that is flattering with his tongue" the bible also says that persons should "speak the truth in love"

Frankness does not mean rudenes. It is not an authorization to say whatever one pleases, wherever one chooses to say it, nor in front of just any one. THE USE OF THOUGHTLESS WORDS, CAN LEAVE LASTING WOUNDS! The bible says that there is a right place for evaryhing.

As a church family, we should use the biblical instruction, "Never use harsh words when you correct an older man, but talk to him as if he were your father. Talk to younger men as though they were your brothers., and older women as though they were your mothers, and younger women as though they were your sisters '.

Smile There are many churches in the community. After develpoing a spiritual community among the church family, there needs to be an overflow into the physical community where we reside and work.
