I think the problem is that people have forgotten what is natural, and the drug companies want as many things as possible labeled as a disease so they can sell drugs for it.

I've actually heard some weird people imply that having a period was a disease!

I guess it is part of the new birth control pills that they are pushing that gets rid of a woman's period completely.

That is part of the reason why our culture is so messed up.  Often cultures actually try to suppress or ignore the natural process of life, and often tell people that it is wrong or abnormal to go through normal natural processes.

Saying menopause is a disease is just part of that.  It's a natural process and there is nothing wrong with it, just like it is nothing wrong with puberty and all that goes along with that.

People try to pretend their children are asexual until they are 21 (which is not true), and then pretend that they will be fertile until they are 100 (which is also not true).

I suppose it's just denial that we get older.

Menopauze

Het geheim van menopauze is omkering. Vóór de menopauze is een vrouw met name gericht op de binnenkant. Het ligt in haar natuur om zich in die periode bezig te houden met dat wat er in haar "buik" leeft. Dat is ook wat je ziet, de belevingswereld van de vrouw richt zich op het gezin en de kinderen. Daar ligt ook haar kracht, in de verbinding met de binnenwereld. 

Tijdens de overgang, het woord zegt het al, vindt er een bepaalde verandering plaats. Het is een verandering die met name plaatsvindt in je belevingswereld. Vóór de overgang richt de energie van de vrouw zich met name op de "binnenwereld". In de praktijk komt het er meestal op neer dat ze, diep in haar hart, het gezin en kinderen belangrijk vindt. Ze houd zich als het ware bezig met dat wat er in haar buik leeft, met omhulling, koestering, een nestje bouwen zou je kunnen zeggen. Daar ligt op dat moment ook haar kracht. Je moet dit meer zien als het richten van energie, dat wat ze vanuit haar hart het liefste zou doen, of het belangrijkste vind (het doet er niet toe of je wel of niet kinderen of wel of niet een baan hebt). 

Tijdens de overgang vindt er een omkering plaats, dit is een volkomen natuurlijk proces. Om je heen is de noodzaak om binnen te blijven afgenomen (kinderen de deur uit, thuis de zaak op orde, leuke baan). Je energie wil zich nu meer gaan richten op de buitenwereld. Dat is ook wat je ziet gebeuren, vrouwen willen zich na de overgang, diep in hun hart, meer bezighouden met hun actie kant, met de (grote boze) buitenwereld, met dat wat er in hun hoofd leeft. Ze hebben, bij wijze van spreken, nu lang genoeg gezorgd en gemoederd, het is nu tijd voor andere dingen. Ontwikkeling, groeien en energie is iets heel raars. Dat hou je niet zomaar tegen. Kijk maar naar kleine kinderen..
