I cook because I simply love it! My wife is from Trinidad and I can't get enough of the food from her homeland. I was fortunate that my mother in law passed on her recipes to me. Our children get very excited when I am preparing traditional Trini meals. It's definitely a cuisine that keeps us close.

I dunno what that is, but I hear women and men talk about 'sweat rice'. It seems like the women sweat over the rice...I don't know what part of their body......
