My husband used to live in Turks & Caicos and raves about a bread that they served there.  It was a sweet bread that was served before meals, before breakfast, even for snacking. (and the woman who made it, made it in a 55 gallon drum!) Also, all of the hotels serve it.  It is not the Bajan sweet bread recipe I've found on this site.  He said it was a plain sweet bread (no raisins, coconut, etc.) and he found it in Turks & Caicos, San Salvador, Aruba, Bonaire, & Treasure Cay.  He said it was a very dense, sweet bread and served everywhere.

I can't find this recipe.  Evidently, there is no official name for it - they just call it sweet bread.

Does anyone know where I can get the recipe for this?
