Some people have posted that they prefer cooking with "other" meats.  I am curious to hear what meats you like that are not on the list.

Goat meat, its a must in my house. But with the type of dishes we make we usually have at least 2-3 different types of meat at once in one pot...so its hard to choose just one....chicken, goat, beef, pork, fish, lamb...its hard to find room for the veggies

Someone voted for Turkey!

I was starting to feel like a turkey for including turkey on the list.

I voted chicken because its one meat that is easy to cook with and can be cooked in many varieties e.g. curry, fried, roasted, pandan leaves chicken, chili & onion spicy chicken, soups, gung pow chicken, etc.......

But I wish I could also vote for others.... my choice for others are like fish, prawn, shellfish (SEAFOOD), mmmmmmm, yummie!

Pork is another of my favourite too, you can make GUINESS PORK! deeeeelicious!

In response to your question pertaining to types of other meat to cook with, my preference is FISH.

Marina Tham’s Recipes

There are people that like to eat rabbit meat here. There are also ostrich burger.

Anyway, I never like to eat things that are so cute. Makes me shiver all over.

During my business visit to China (Beijing & Hebei) I found that people there eat/cook almost anything e.g. cat, ants, grasshoppers, etc...!!!

A local hamburger restaurant has started serving ostrich burgers here.  I haven't got enough guts to try it yet.  Maybe later, but their regular hamburgers are so good.

Actually, I think I've eaten Chocolate Covered Ants once.  (At least that's what they told me they were after I ate them!)

They tasted like chicken... er, actually, it tasted like chocolate.

I heard people say "ants" are very nutritious? Anyway Scott, do you like them?

The Chinese Medical Halls where I lived sell a kind of Chinese Drink which has certain herbs and "Bees" in them (Dried Dead Bees). This drink is supposed to lower down the body heat when someone has a really high fewer.

I had those quite a few times when I was small. Cooked by mom. IT REALLY WORKS, fast too! Then they have things like Dried Sea Horses and Sea Dragons that kind of clear toxic in your blood system. It also works really well and people with pimples find their faces smoother with much much less pimples.
