After our success in organizing the 500th anniversary celebration of the 1492 discovery of the Americas, the Puerto Rico Tourism Company evaluated the experience in light of its strengths and needs, developing a thorough tourism policy based on our strong commitment to set an impeccable standard of excellence with the talent of our human resources and the wealth of our natural environment. Many companies have become aware of the opportunities and have invested in our people. Ritz Carlton, Westin and Wyndham are some of the hotel industry leaders that have contributed to increase our capacity over the last few years, as we have created new visitor attractions and restored invaluable historical and natural treasures for everyone to enjoy.
