What is happening in Cuba:

Cuba in spite of the pressures brought upon it by its great northern antagonist is yet able to have a number of events to celebrate.


  • New Year's Day - January 1 - National Holiday


  • Jordanas de la Cultura Camagneyana - First two weeks in February
  • Carnival
  • Havana international Jazz Festival - February on the even years

Carnival occurs in the last weekend in February and finishes on the first of March. There are parades in front of the capital building and along the Malecon.
