Broward Caribbean Carnival, Inc. (BCCI) has once again partnered with the South Florida Carnival Band Leaders Association (SFCBLA) to present Broward Caribbean
Carnival 2007 and the Parade of Bands. This event is one of the largest and fastest growing cultural events in the Southeast and promises to bring the sights and sounds of the Caribbean to South Florida at large. Our thanks to South Florida for being the 2007 host city for this Caribbean extravaganza now in its 5th year and growing.
The Parade of Bands will be held on Sunday, October 7th, 2007. The parade route begins and ends inside the beautiful and majestic park grounds. Along the parade route inside the park the masqueraders will be judged as they compete for the coveted honor and top prize of Band of The Year, in addition to several individual honors in a variety of categories.
Broward Caribbean Carnival is a cultural experience and spectacular display of colors and pageantry. At the Park, there will be a variety of family oriented events featuring a Kids Play Zone. On the main stage, performing will be top Soca Artists, dance, calypsonians, steelpan bands and other art forms indigenous to the Caribbean. The event will offer the delectable cuisine from the Caribbean, Americas, and other Nations. There will also be a host of vendors displaying arts and crafts as well as merchandise representing the colorful flare of the Caribbean culture. Corporate vendor booths and sponsor booths will also be out in numbers. Stop by and learn about the services or products that our business vendors and corporate sponsors have to offer. Support them as they in turn support us to help make this event possible.

We would like to know why the Miami Carnival And the Ft lauderdale. Carnival are on the same date October 7 2007
That is splitting the crowd of participants, venders and others.
Perhaps lack of coordination by the two organizations. When they scheduled theirs and got the permits, they did not know that the other one was on the same day.
I would recommend contacting both Carnival organizations and let them know how you feel.

Where's the current dates? - Unlike other websites, CaribbeanChoice only publishes the official dates as released by the carnival organizer. Most other websites simply guess what next year's dates are. We don't do that. We want to make sure our information is as accurate as possible.
This page will be updated as soon as we get the official dates from the event organizer, or they post it on their official website, whichever comes first.
Note: We haven't heard anything from this carnival in awhile. It may not be held anymore. If you have information about this carnival, please contact us.
